E! News gave us the exclusive premiere of Nicki Minaj’s new music video “Va Va Voom” and it’s safe to say this video has something for everyone.
Starting with Nicki herself looking damn good.
While no one would ever accuse the American Idol-bound superstar of being a damsel in distress, the rap queen nevertheless gets her fairytale princess on (and how) in the sun-soaked Hype Williams-directed video, living out her and every little girl’s fantasy by not only taking on the part of a princess, but even being saved from her glass-boxed, woodland-enclosed prison by her very own charming prince.
Of course, this is Minaj we’re talking, so she takes a turn to the dark side, as well. Hey, no one makes being bad look quite so good.
And just when you think she’s packed everything she can into the video, along come the unicorns. See? Told you. Something for everyone. Nicki, girl, you’ve done it again.
