Nicki is on the cover of The New York Times Magazine for October 2015. I’ve also added two new photos from session.
Nicki Minaj is the world’s biggest female hip-hop star, a top pop star and the first woman to achieve success in both genres. Like Beyoncé, who performed recently in Central Park with the words ‘‘boss’’ and ‘‘hustler’’ flashing on screens behind her, along with a grainy video in which she smashed a vacuum and a sewing machine, Minaj has become expert at modeling the ways that women can wield power in the industry. But she has also drawn attention to the ways in which power can be embodied by a woman standing up for herself and speaking her own mind. Minaj’s behavior isn’t exclusive to her tracks; she also exhibits it in the national telenovela that she, like the rest of these women, to a greater or lesser degree, is running about herself, feeding the public information about her paramours, ex-paramours, peccadilloes and beefs, all of it delivered in social media’s short, sharp bursts.

Nicki Minaj is taking her entrepreneurial skills to television, as the rapper revealed plans to executive produce and star in a scripted comedy series based on her life for ABC Family.
The as-yet-untitled series will be based on Minaj’s pre-superstar life in Queens, New York. The Nineties-set show will explore the Trinidad and Tobago-born artist’s “vibrant immigrant family and the personal and musical evolution that lead to her eventual rise to stardom,” reports Deadline.
“This is one of the more unique adventures I’ve ever embarked on,” Minaj told Deadline. “I couldn’t be more proud and excited to team up with an amazing group of people to give the world something really special.” Kate Angelo (Sex Tape, The Back-Up Plan) will be writing the series, with the show’s pilot set to be filmed in December in Queens.
Nicki has graced the cover of the new upcoming issue of GQ Magazine. I’ve added 2 HQ photos from the shoot to our e4xdtensive photo archive. Make sure to check them and the interview out below!
Nicki Minaj’s eyeliner is a precision event, a marvel, as if drawn on by the kind of pre-programmed robot arm used for laparoscopic surgeries. It is a peacock navy color, dark and shiny and full, extending maybe a not-outrageous half centimeter up from the top lid, extending an additional still-not-crazy three centimeters outward past where her eyes end. Her eyelashes are even and delicate, like wisps from a dandelion, and I can’t recall if I’ve ever seen her without prosthetic versions. I have had plenty of time to search my memory, though, because here on this couch, in this room, during this interview, with me sitting next to her, Nicki Minaj has fallen asleep.

“No wig, no costume, the American Idol Diva like you’ve never seen her before!”
The ‘Queen of Hip-Hop/Rap’ Nicki Minaj steps in front of ELLE photographers as she takes her spot as the April 2013 covergirl. The ever photogenic Minaj steps out of her comfort zone in this issue, as she is photographed without her signature pink lips, theatrical hair and costumes. ‘Simple yet ellegant’ is the look ELLE had in mind with Ms. Minaj for this issue with a nude face, and her recently barb-acclaimed Oscar James designed wig. April Issue of ELLE Magazine is on sale NOW in retail stores nation wide so be sure to cop it while the cost low: ($3.99-$4.99 US)

Nicki minaj covers paper magazine with her amazing green the 29 year old rapper gave paper magazine an interview hear what she had to say.
SD: This year, fame came at you like a freight train. How are you handling your world domination? Are you sleeping at night?
NM: Ugh! I have been working sooo much. Success came and now that somany eyes are on me, I feel I have to deliver. And it’s a business. No joke. I guess I am stressing more than I
should be, and I think I am becoming more guarded.
SD: I saw you sitting front row next to Anna Wintour at Fashion Week. Genius! Such a fabulous couple. What was going through your thoughts?
NM: Yes! I was screaming out loud inside my head. Me sitting next to the Queen of Vogue! It was such a strange experience. I felt like I was dreaming. And I thought she would be snobby
or something. But she was so incredibly sweet to me.
