The Harajuku Barbie showed love to H-town when her “Pink Friday” tour touched down on Saturday. The queen of the Barbz brought out some local legends during her concert at the Bayou Music Center. Slim Thug and Paul Wall performed “Still Tippin’,” while Bun B had everyone singing along to “Big Pimpin’.” Backstage, the UGK member introduced Nicki to one of the youngest Barbz, his granddaughter Taylor.

She thanked her guests for sharing the stage with her. “Biiiiig S/O to @BunBTrillOG @slimthugga and @PaulWallBaby for blessing the #pinkfridaytour tonite!!!!!!! Truly honored!” tweeted Nicki.

During her show in Atlanta earlier this month, the “Starships” rapper was joined by T.I., Young Jeezy, and Monica, while the Miami Barbz were treated to performances by Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled.

Last night, Birdman came out during Nicki Minaj‘s show at the UNO Lakefront Arena in his hometown New Orleans, Louisiana to perform Big Tymers’ classic “Still Fly” and to present the Barbie with a plaque for going platinum with her latest album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, worldwide!

Waka Flocka Flame joins forces with Young Money in the Benny Boom-directed video for “Get Low,” the new single off his sophomore album Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family. MTV News caught up with the Brick Squad rapper and his co-stars Nicki Minaj and Tyga on set in Atlanta last week.

“The concept for the video was a red, white, and black color scheme, and a lot of art,” explained Waka, who’s readying his new mixtape Salute Me or Shoot Me Vol. 4. “I wanted to bring hip-hop videos back—choreographing and girls dancing in it. There’s too [many] naked women dancing in videos scenes to me. I feel like I wanna put the art back into it. I feel like it’s my job to put the art and the fun back into the music.”

Even before she was part of the YMCMB camp, Nicki Minaj had a close friendship with Waka Flocka Flame, and the two linked up recently on the Atlanta rapper’s single “Get Low” from his Triple F Life album. Nicki joined Waka and Tyga on set to shoot the song’s video this week, where she told MTV News that things between her and Waka are still golden.

Early in her career, Nicki Minaj was managed by Waka’s mother, Debra Antney, and when she parted ways with Antney, things seemed to go sour. Despite some of the fallout from that separation, Nicki brushes it off now, confirming that it hasn’t affected her relationship with Waka.
