Gucci gets a lot of help on his September 28 Warner album, but don’t expect to hear Waka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman or Zaytoven.

On September 28, Gucci Mane will release his third major label studio album, The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted on 1017 Brick Squad/Warner Brothers/Asylum Records. The album will follow-up last year’s The State vs. Radric Davis, released just after the Atlanta rapper’s incarceration.

The third outing will feature production and vocals from Swizz Beatz, Bun B, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj and Nicki Minaj. Production duties will be handled by Drumma Boy, The Neptunes, and Lex Luger. Notably absent is Gucci’s longtime producer Zaytoven, as well as Brick Squad members Waka Flocka Flame and OJ Da Juiceman.

Alexandra Burke signed a multimillion dollar contract with a US label last year and since then Alex and her people have been in the studio working on music for the US release.

Well her people have selected the first US single and it’s going to be “Bad Boys” however instead of featuring Flo Rida (like the standard version) it will feature US rapper Nicki Minaj, no word on the release date however the remix is expected to feature on the re-release of Alexandra’s debut album “Overcome” (due for release in November).

The first single from Alexandra’s re-release, “Start Without You”, is released September 6th.

Nicki Minaj has admitted that she is not concerned whether she has featured artists on her album.

The rapper, who is currently working on her debut LP Pink Friday, said that it is more important to showcase herself as an artist than worry about who will feature on the songs.

Discussing the record with Honey, she said: “I haven’t confirmed any aritsts yet. I’ve done so many features so far that right now I want to sing myself.

“If I happen to have features on the album then I do, but I’m not going into my album thinking ‘OK, I’m going to get this this one and that one’. If it happens, it happens, and if it doesn’t it doesn’t.”

She continued: “I believe that my work is so strong for this album that whether there is a feature on there or not, it’s going to do amazing.”

The singer also claimed that there is not as much hype around her as people make out.

“People act like I have this really big buzz but I don’t see it,” she said.

“To be honest, it’s not as big as people act like it is. I have to do so much work to promote – more work than other people because people expect me to lose. They think I’m one-dimensional.”

Minaj releases her debut single ‘Your Love’ in the UK on September 20.
