Clearly fans of a well-crafted 16, The Lonely Island showcase their rhyming skills—or laughably lack thereof—on Turtleneck & Chain, the follow-up to 2009’s Incredibad. The first effort saw the comedians tapping Justin Timberlake (“Dick in a Box”) and T-Pain (“I’m on a Boat”) while Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, and Nicki Minaj are just some of the A-list talents that lend an assist to several head-nodding tracks (combined with a few of the awkward and sexually-explicit kind) on the new album. Rap-Up.com had the chance to exclusively interview the trio.

What about when you recorded “The Creep” with Nicki Minaj?
Andy: She was cool. It was fun to watch her record. She has a lot of characters she goes in and out of.
Akiva: She was just really polite.
Jorma: She’s adorable. She’s even cuter in person.

Were you fans of her music before collaborating on that song?
Akiva: We had been fans of her mixtape stuff. We made the album last summer, when we were recording it. So it was before her album came out or anything, and we got in touch with her and she was game to do it. We were just psyched. We saw kindred spirits in the fact that she was playing characters.

Getting ready to drop his next album Bigga Than Life, Birdman already has his second single for the project ready. The #1 stunna spoke to Billboard.com and they revealed the next single off the album will be a track called “Why You Mad,” and will feature Young Money’s Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj. Birdman just recently put out the video for the album’s first single, “I Get Money” featuring T-Pain, Mack Maine, and Lil’ Wayne. Be on the lookout for Bigga Than Life in stores July 7.

Get your lap dances while they last. Nicki Minaj will be putting an end to her sexy routine once she heads out on the road with Britney Spears this summer.

The Harajuku Barbie announced that she won’t be giving out her much-talked-about lap dances following Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour. “This will be my last round of lap dances,” she told Power 106’s Yesi Ortiz and Felli Fel. “When I go [out] with Britney, no more lap dances.”

She also put a name to her onstage alter-ego, who has performed lap dances for Lil Wayne, Chris Paul, and Steve Nash. “The one that comes out with the lap dances on stage, I think that’s Lap Dance Nika. Let’s call her Lap Dance Nika,” she said. “Some of my fans, my Team Minaj Barbz, they’ve called me that sometimes on Twitter, so I thought it was cute, so we’ll call her Lap Dance Nika.”

Catch Lap Dance Nika’s final performances in Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Oakland, before heading to Canada for the finale on April 29. Nicki’s tour with Britney begins June 17 in Sacramento, Calif.

Since Remy’s been locked up, hip-hop has crowned a new rap queen in Nicki Minaj. “She supports it, she’s happy to see the success of Nicki Minaj, she expressed that to me,” Pap said. “She happy to see somebody come up. Just to see somebody new shine and go all the way with it. She’s definitely happy to see that.”
