Birdman announces that “Why Ya Mad” featuring Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj will be a new single off his upcoming album.

There’s been a flight delay. Nicki Minaj and Rihanna fans will have to wait a little longer to see the visuals for the ladies’ collaboration “Fly.” The video won’t make its debut until Memory Day weekend. Nicki explains why.

Since both women dropped their albums in November, the Young Money rapper wants to wait and let Rihanna continue to shine before premiering the “Fly”video in late May.

“I’m gonna hold off on the Rihanna video and the Rihanna single for a little bit longer,” she told MTV News. “‘Cause we both kind of dropped at the same time. So she has a lot of [songs] in rotation and I want to let her stuff have a moment and do its thing, dominate radio. [Instead], I wanted to come out with something more fun.”

When the Sanaa Hamri-directed clip does arrive, she promises big things. “The Rihanna video is a freakin’ epic movie and you know it’s been done for like a month, two months now—very long time,” she added. “Look for it around Memorial Day weekend.”

In the meantime, the head Barb will release the video for “Super Bass,” a single off the deluxe edition of Pink Friday. “I’m taking it back to a few things that I’ve done, it’s a lot more fun,” shared Nicki. “It will be my most fun video and my most carefree video, lots of eye candy and lots of beefcakes.”

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV is getting a splash of pink. Nicki Minaj has confirmed that she’s already laid a guest verse for her Young Money boss’ highly-anticipated album, scheduled for release later this year.

“I recorded something for Carter IV, and I recorded something with the Birdman recently,” the Pink Friday femcee told MTV News, also referring to what’s likely a collaboration for Baby’s Bigger Than Life LP.

The Harajuku Barbie is among the privileged few to hear Tha Carter IV, claiming that it’s going to blow listeners’ minds. “I think Carter IV is gonna just be exceptional, of course,” she continued. “I think Wayne is definitely on his grind crazy right now. But yep, my Carter IV verse has been handed in officially.”

The Young Money cohorts are set to hit the road on Weezy’s “I Am Music II” tour, kicking off on Wednesday in Providence, Rhode Island.

Nicki Minaj goes boom in the sneak peek for “Super Bass” off the deluxe edition of her platinum-selling debut Pink Friday. The blonde Barbie rides a translucent motorycle while wearing a pink giraffe-printed catsuit in the Sanaa Hamri-directed clip. MTV’s “The Seven” was on set and got a sneakpeek.

“It’s a sexy world, it’s a playful world. Of course I have lots of eye candy for my girls and my boys,” said Nicki. “I’m going to be doing some things that people have never seen me do.”

She also shared what fans can expect from her upcoming tour with Lil Wayne and her next endeavor. “I can’t confirm or deny if there’s another album in the works,” teased the rap diva. “All I can say is that what is in the works will be epic. It will quench everyone’s thirst ’cause all these bitches is my sons.”
