Looks like Nicki Minaj will be bringing in New Years (pre-taped) in a big way:

If you’re planning to save yourself from the cold, icy conditions come New Years Eve, Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj will keep you company. On December 31st, beginning at 10 pm eastern, Wayne and Minaj will perform on “NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.” Carson Daly, who has been a New Years Eve television staple for several years, will broadcast the show live from Times Square in New York City.

Also former business-mate Wacka Flocka speaks on Nicki Minaj as they came up together under the same management of his mother:

Shortly after the Harajuku Barbie moved to Atlanta, Waka’s mother and manager, Deb Antney, began handling her business via Mizay Entertainment. Antney also manages Gucci Mane.

As previously reported, Nick fired Antney back in April. Speaking with Respect Magazine, Waka remembered Minaj’s early days with Mizay Entertainment.

“She probably learned some sh*t off me and I learned a lot off her,” Waka told Respect. “We’ve been around. That’s what got her blown up–she can connect to her fans…Everybody was trying to f**k her. Everybody. Nicki wouldn’t mess with anybody. I swear to God, she came here focused. Came all the way here focused. She was smashing tracks. Every track she on, she had the hardest verse.”
