The global health crisis forced James Corden‘s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ into what many feared would be a permanent parking spot. However, as reported here, ‘The Late Late Show’ phenomenon has finally revved up its engines again after a 2-year hiatus. Rolling on to screens Wednesday (April 6), Rap Queen Nicki Minaj was tapped to assist with the wildly popular segment’s royal return to television.
“The entire afternoon that we spent together, I was so happy to be in her orbit and her company and I really, really loved being with her,” Corden said of his time with the GRAMMY nominee. “It was so joyous.”
